I. What is your background?

I graduated my BSN in 2008 from University of Cebu, Philippines. As for my experience, taking NLE is so different in comparison to the NCLEX. In the NCLEX, it will test your true knowledge about nursing. It measures your ability to analyze, organize, prioritize concepts/data/situation/cases in relation to your nursing practice.

II. How did you discover CB-NCLEX?

I discovered CB-NCLEX through my mother-in-law who was previously a coworker of ate Cathy.

III. Explain Cathy's teaching method - in what ways does she differentiate herself from other tutoring services?

Ate Cathy’s method of teaching is simple and direct. She is a good listener and motivator, she encourages students to strive to be the best they can, to reach their goals, to recognize their strengths, and to focus on learning how to learn so that they will be successful in the future. What makes ate Cathy different from other tutors is that she is empathetic. She understands what it’s like to be a student who may lack confidence, feel stressed, be overwhelmed or just not understand the material. She also has desire to help, to make a difference, and gets satisfaction seeing others succeed.

IV. After passing the NCLEX & getting tutored by Cathy Bugayong, how has your life been impacted in a positive way?

CB-NCLEX helped me develop a positive mindset, CB-NCLEX gave my confidence back and helped me realize that I should refuse to give up on my dreams. After passing the NCLEX exam, my life changed in a positive way; I can now say I’m one step closer to reaching my dreams and goals in life and there are better opportunities for me (career wise). My journey of becoming a licensed nurse was filled with challenges and variety of emotions. After 2 failed attempts in taking the NCLEX, I was discouraged and felt completely defeated. It has been tough, but CB-NCLEX helped me to not give up on my dreams, Cathy continued to encourage me, and helped me refocus on my goals. I am so thankful to CB-NCLEX for all the guidance and superb teaching method to helped me pass my NCLEX.
