I. What is your background?

I was born in the Philippines but I moved to the states at a young age. When I grew up and started college I went back to the Philippines where I got my BSN in nursing from the Adventist University of the Philippines. I was the last to graduate before COVID-19 started to hit the Philippines hard. After a few months of waiting for my credentials to make it to the United States, I was eligible to take the NCLEX. However, I would find myself struggling to take the boards here. I would take a total of 5 tries to pass the boards, after the third time I found myself looking for help.

II. How did you discover CB-NCLEX?

III. Explain Cathy's teaching method - in what ways does she differentiate herself from other tutoring services?

A very close friend of our family told us about CB-NCLEX Review and how they passed the boards with her help. We thought she could do the same for me and boy did she deliver!

IV. After passing the NCLEX & getting tutored by Cathy Bugayong, how has your life been impacted in a positive way?

Cathy’s teaching method is straight to the point, she gives us handouts, and we study them and go over them during her classes. The thing that’s different is the fact that you get face to face help. To be specific, she will tailor her lessons for everyone. While taking her class, she is attentive to our needs and goes over anything we don’t understand. I struggled to study for the NCLEX, I studied the wrong things and Cathy helped me refocus my attention to certain topics that came up in the exams. The attention and knowing someone that cares enough to not leave me behind gave me a lot of positive thinking and kept me going. Even if I failed, I knew I wasn’t a failure.

V. Why would you recommend CB-NCLEX/Cathy Bugayong's tutoring method?

Cathy’s tutoring brought me out of a dark place where I was able to flourish, I’m a nurse now taking care of people and I’m loving it. To you, whoever wants to pass, you won’t find a better teacher than Cathy. I know because I passed because of her, sure I had other help. I looked everywhere and tried everything from flash cards to other tutoring schools, but in the end, Cathy was the missing link to all of it. Don’t take my word for it, try and see!
