I. What is your background?

Registered Nurse. I studied nursing in the Philippines and graduated 1978. I then came to US in 1980, and took nursing review classes and didn't really understand the review class. The tutor’s just read the book, and never really taught, and I didn't pass. I then tried to take the NCLEX again in 2007 while taking CB-NCLEX classes. This time I passed. Her teaching method is different, and I understood each subject in a better way.

II. How did you discover CB-NCLEX?

I worked with Cathy and when I talked to her about my plan, she said she'll tutor me with the nursing review.

III. Explain Cathy's teaching method - in what ways does she differentiate herself from other tutoring services?

Cathy explains the subject thoroughly and makes sure you understand before going to another subject. Other tutoring places just read the subject matter. It is just the way Cathy tutors that makes me feel confident that I can do it.

IV. After passing the NCLEX & getting tutored by Cathy Bugayong, how has your life been impacted in a positive way?

I graduated nursing 1978 and pass the NCLEX 2007. After taking NCLEX in 1980, I failed and decided to give up. I didn't pursue my nursing career till 2007. I worked in retail, then accounting, before finally going back to nursing. My husband got laid-off and I decided it’s time to give myself another chance. With Cathy's help and my husband's support I made it. Now I'm retired for almost 2 years.

V. Why would you recommend CB-NCLEX/Cathy Bugayong's tutoring method?

A lot of Filipino nurses pass the NCLEX because of her. She knows how to teach and explains so you can understand the subject.
